24 HOUR ROAD CLOSURE, A488, HOPE VALLEY

The A488 will be closed from June 30^th to August 22^nd 2025.

Landslip repairs

• There will be a shuttle bus to the 553 bus.
• Access for residents and farmers will be permitted with a resident pass – being delivered now and over the next few days.
• Deliveries will be permitted if communicated to the road closure by the residents.
• The closure will be 24 hour, and the roadblocks will be manned 24/7. The road will have large vehicles on it and areas of road missing. It will not be safe.
• There will be signage to stop HGVs from using the side (single track) roads and causing chaos!
